Schools and Youth Groups
Schools and Youth Groups are entitled to discounted rates at Mt Ruapehu if they pre-book with one of our Schools and Groups Coordinators.
Please note that School and Youth Group rates apply only to schools or youth groups in New Zealand. Youth Group refers to a group predominantly made up of youth members ie. 5-18 years old. For schools or youth groups outside New Zealand please refer to the Other Groups section.
Bookings
Bookings for all school / youth groups are essential and there must be a minimum of 10 school students/youth group members to qualify. Discounts will not be available to groups who arrive at the Ski Area without having pre-booked and we cannot guarantee the availability of rental equipment or lessons.

Please complete a booking form for each day of your visit if that is easier for you.

If your group requires rental gear please complete the rentals spreadsheet and return along with your booking form, detailing all the relevant information relating to the members of your group.

Availability
Please make your booking at least two weeks in advance. At certain times during the season we book out very quickly. If rental equipment or lessons are not available due to heavy bookings, your Mt Ruapehu group co-ordinator will contact you to make alternative arrangements. Clothing cannot be booked in advance and any groups will be dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis along with other visitors to the mountain.
Confirmations
After we receive your booking, a confirmation will be sent back to you along with some further information.
NOTE: Unless you have received a confirmation from your Mt Ruapehu group co-ordinator, please assume that your booking has not been received.
Payments
The preferred method of payment is via an account with Ruapehu Alpine Lifts Ltd. In order to set up an account you need to complete the Credit Application form below. Any unused products (tickets) must be returned on the day and, if a refund is appropriate, a credit invoice will be issued.

NOTE: You will receive a receipt with your tickets when you pick them up. A tax invoice will be forwarded to your accounts department by mail.
If your group is paying by cash, cheque or credit card, payment is required on a daily basis when tickets are picked up at Customer Services. Any unused products (tickets) must be returned on the day and they will be refunded appropriately. We do not accept personal cheques.
