Dual SL race

The Dual Sl event at Whakapapa was a chance for Turoa and Whakapapa teams to come together for a head to head fun race before K-Cup Nationals. The weather played fair with blue skys and light winds.

The course was set down the valley above the Knoll ridge cafe. Spectators had some excellent views of the course from the top deck.

After the race we all headed down to the HQ for a BBQ and drinks before prizegiving.

This was also a race for the Ruapehu Cup which was won by Whakapapa with 27 points, Turoa came in a close second with 21 points. 3 points for 1st, 2 points for 2nd and 1 point for 3rd.
