On-Snow Objectives:

Being a weekend programme, the main objective is spend as much time on snow as possible each day.  At this level athletes are learning how to compete in ski racing.  This still involves improving their technical skiing base, and also tactical skills are introduced.  For athletes who didn’t participate in the Entry programme learning race rules and other aspects of ski racing may be required.  Athletes attend Regional races in the North Island.

Off-Snow Objectives:

To create an awareness of fitness and how it relates to ski racing.  Enhance skills using tools like video. Develop teamwork and fun activity. Off snow activities are primarily weather driven.
