Full Time Performance Programme
On snow, dryland and academics managed on a 7 day week during term three and school holidays on either side. (Complete schedule in progress)
Requirements:
· Selection only – Athletes will be selected by coaches from the development and entry-level teams based on: Commitment, Performance, Results, Fitness, Respect for others and Effort in School
· Minimum riding standard is level 6, which is being able to ride everything on the mountain.
· Registration deadline December 1st 2008. $300 will be added to registrations recieved after Dec 1st 2008.
On-Snow Objectives:
Developing advanced skills in all areas, top competition results and selection to NZ National Team.
Off-Snow Objectives:
Goals will include a high level of physical strength and fitness. This is to create awareness of fitness and how it relates to competition, and also for it to enhance the skills required by the athlete. Active use and access to video footage is provided to enhance skills and memory.
Academic Objectives:
There are two schools in the region that can cater for the students academic needs. Ruapehu College and National Park School. Most students will choose to do independent study.

Note:
Costs do not include travel, personal equipment or other fees. Fees collected on behalf of a club or school is directly transferred to them.
RAL and Ruapehu Sport reserve the right to cancel any programme prior to July 4th, 2008. In any such event all fees will be refunded.
Insurance will be offered. This is for pro-rated refunds due to illness or injury that restricts the athlete from participating in the programme for a significant part of the season. Exact requirements and wording will be provided later, such as needing a valid medical certificate.
