Development Programme
Weekends, school holidays and some mid week race days. Programme begins July 5th and ends October 10th. There is also the option of mid week and south island camps. See registration forms for details and pricing.
Snowboard and Freestyle Ski registration form 2010
Requirements:
· Minimum riding standard is Level 5, which is linked turns on and off trail with basic freestyle small jumps and switch riding.
On-Snow Objectives:
Goals will include building on basic skills in all areas, good performance in competitions and selection to the Performance Programme. The main areas of training will be in Slopestyle, Boarder/Skier cross and GS. There may be an opportunity to train Halfpipe in the south island before nationals or on a seperate camp.
Off-Snow Objectives:
To create an awareness of fitness and how it relates to freestyle. Enhance skills using tools like video. Develop teamwork using fun activities. Off snow activities are primarily weather driven.
